2005 Tim's Buck

Opening morning 2005 Lowell Feather's saw a nice Deer on the tracks just as he was getting to his stand unfortunately his gun wasn't loaded so he just stood and watched as the deer walked off the tracks right towards Tim Gorges' stand.  Tim was in his stand nestled between the scrub brush in the swamp side of the railroad tracks.   He saw a "nice" buck appear in his shooting lane quartering towards him.

He took a shot right at the buck's neck and the buck took off.  After checking around Tim was unable to find any blood or any sign that the deer was hit.  Tim was disappointed and frustrated.

Amazingly the Deer was recovered not far from where it was shot!  The bullet had never exited leaving no blood trail!
